Stakeholder Engagement in bioeconomy related EU-funded projects aims to connect a diverse group of individuals, all working together to speed up the progress of the circular bioeconomy. A casual conversation among project partners about stakeholder engagement turned into a successful online webinar, with 38 participants and presentations from 6 bioeconomy projects!

On June 22, 2023, BIOMODEL4REGIONS partners shared their experiences in stakeholder engagement, building connections and creating a diverse pool of motivated stakeholders working for advancing the bioeconomy. The webinar included inspiring best practices from projects like:

Alejandra Campos (Steinbeis Europa Zentrum) presented ROBIN’s successful approach to engage quadruple helix stakeholders and deploy regional circular bioeconomies at it’s five pilot regions. She also talked about their regional experience in engaging local stakeholders in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany.

Maria García Alegre (CTA) ROBIN’s member team in the region of Andalusia in Spain talked about the Andalusian experience in including and engaging local stakeholders with the aim to deploy the bioeconomy in their region.

ROBIN will continue engaging key bioeconomy players in its upcoming support actions, beginning in 2024 so, stay tuned for more information!
