The ROBIN project has been honored with the prestigious Spanish National Biocircularity Award in the Public-Private Cooperation category at the BioCircular Summit held in Madrid, Spain. An important recognition for the collective efforts of all ROBIN’s partners, highlighting the successful and impactful collaboration between public and private sectors. This partnership has significantly contributed to advancing sustainable biocircular business models, strengthening the project’s vital role in the ecological transition.

Mar Cátedra, Technical Advisor of the CAP (regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development of the Andalusian Government), and Paula Rosa, Consultant at CTA (Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía), both representatives of the ROBIN project’s key consortium partners, accepted the award on behalf of the initiative.

The First State Biocircularity Awards aim to identify and recognize individuals and projects that are driving Spain’s ecological transition. The Public-Private Cooperation Award is one of seven categories, recognizing cross-sector partnerships that foster biocircular policies and practices, delivering positive environmental impacts.

The BioCircular Summit, recognized as the leading Spanish forum for discussing biocircularity across diverse subsectors including, bioenergy, biofuels and eFuels, renewable gases, bioproducts, and biorefineries. It is organized by BIOCIRC, BIOPLAT, and the State Biocircular Hub, and the event seeks to become the main annual platform for reinforcing the biocircular value chain and a crucial reference point for those aiming to drive and enhance ecological transition through biocircular solutions.
