Our partner, Consejería de Agricultura de la Junta de Andalucía (CAP), co-organised the Cajamar Bioeconomy Day in Seville (Spain) on 23 April. The event was a huge success with more than 100 people attending!
The aim was to showcase examples of companies and technology centres that implement sustainable and circular practices in their activities, thereby increasing economic value. Speakers discussed new market trends in bioproducts and bioenergy and success stories.
Mar Cátedra from CAP explained that “the bioeconomy has always been part of our society” and advocated resuming this way of living. During her speech at the round table on “Challenges and opportunities”, she highlighted the work of the ROBIN project, which supports regional ecosystems and creates a higher European community.
Samir Sayadi from IFA presented “the ROBIN project as an example of how public administrations and other entities can collaborate in the development of the bioeconomy in the EU”.
Stay tuned for the next events of our Andalusian partners!
