The 1st CCRI General Conference and 2nd Coordination and Support Workshop of the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (#CCRIeurope), held on 8-9 November 2023 in Brussels or online, have concluded with a big success!
The ROBIN project team, represented by Alejandra Campos (Steinbeis Europa) responsible for synergizing with the CCRI and related networks and initiatives, and Eleni Pappa (Region of Central Macedonia, one of our pilot regions), attended the event and are now prepared to hit the ground running by applying the acquired knowledge to ROBIN activities.
The conference featured multiple insights and discussions on:
- Driving Change: Benefits of Circular Economy
- Innovative Circular Systemic Solutions
- Mobilizing Key Stakeholders & Transforming Governance Models
- Financing Circular Systemic Solutions
- Coupling Circularity with Climate Action to Support the Green Transition
Moreover, the workshop provided hands-on training and interesting networking opportunities among CCRI partners, including a dedicated time for a matchmaking session. The ROBIN team, involved in one of the Thematic Groups and Sessions for Circular Bioeconomy, actively participated in discussions that will pave the way for a more sustainable and circular future for regional bioeconomy uptake.
