Organised by the European Commission (DG Research and Innovation) in collaboration with the Bioeconomy Youth Ambassadors, the Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival aspires to empower youth as catalysts for the changes necessary to tackle Europe’s contemporary challenges and deploy the bioeconomy’s transformative potential.

The Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival will take place in Brussels and includes a high-level event and more than 30 satellite events across Europe! More than 30 satellite events within the framework of the Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival are taking place between 11 and 17 March 2024 in various locations across the EU. ROBIN will also organise two satellite events within the Festival’s satellite events!

The high-level event ‘’Next generation bioeconomy policies – Achieving the green and fair transition through competitive sustainability’’ will be held in Brussels on 13-14 March 2024 and will give voice to youth and changemakers on how to move towards a sustainable and circular bioeconomy. The event will help the European Commission, provide insights and gather views to update the Bioeconomy Strategy and Action Plan.
